How to play NFS Unbound with friends
Games are more fun with friends!
Need For Speed Unbound allows the players to have the option of playing the game with their friends, however, it’s not as easy as it seems. NFS unbound has an interesting multiplayer mode, which needs you to add your friend to your friend list before playing along with them, failing to do so, however, could lead to an inability in playing the game together with your friend.
Make sure all the friends have their EA IDs in place, go to the lobby, open the search area and type the ID. The friend’s ID would appear, then add them to your friend list.
How can you add your friends in Need For Speed Unbound
1. Open the main menu
In order to play the game with your friends, first open the game and toggle the lobby from the main menu.
2. Select the search menu
In the main lobby, in the top corner there would be a search option, in order to help you search the ID of your friends.
3. Enter the EA ID of your friend
Once you have opened the search menu, enter the EA ID of your friends, which would then show the usernames of your friends.
4. Send the requests
Once the names of your friends are available through their EA IDs, make sure to send them the invites, so that they can add you in their games as well.
5. Play together
Once, the friends are added in the game, you can easily play with them and race out through the streets of Lakeshore City together.
How to play NFS Unbound across different platforms
Good news is, EA have continued their cross-play function for the game, which, means you’ll have more diverse and wide range of opponents available in the multiplayer modes, plus, your friends would be able to use whichever platform they have and still play together.
There is an option available, in the game if you would want to just race against players having the same platforms, however, it would reduce the competition available to opponents to race with.
