The exalted ruler of the Inazuma, Shogunate, Raiden Shogun is a 5-star character in Genshin Impact. Story-wise, she plays a big role in being the ruler of Inazuma. And in the game, her skill is very good with other electro and dendro element characters. She is famous for her power and uses Electro Polearm to strike her enemies at sight. Talents and Playstyle
Raiden is a very flexible character in Genshin Impact. Her skill deals a normal amount of damage in the game. But her burst is the main damage source when playing Raiden Shogun. The Burst not only damages the opponents, but it also recharges her and her teammates’ Burst.

| Secret Art – MusouShinsetsu (Burst) | Raiden Shogun unleashes her Burst the Musou no Hitotachi and deals AoE Elector DMG. It can only do damage if you are using MusouIsshin in combat. The attack is based on the number of Shogun Byakugen no Rin’s Resolve stacks consumed when she is using the skill. When her attacks hit the opponents, she regenerates Energy for nearby party members. Although her Energy can be restored once every 1s, but this effect can only be triggered 5 times. |
Passive Talent
Raiden has some neat passives that reinforce her playstyle as a burst support. If Raiden Shogun is in your party, you will see an electro ring appear behind your characters. This is a resolve counter. Every time you gain elemental orbs the resolve counter will go up. Having more resolve will deal more damage when you unleash your burst onto the enemy.
As for her 2nd passive, any energy recharge above 100% will increase the energy restoration by 0.6% and electro damage bonus by 0.4% per 1% of energy. This further solidifies Raiden Shogun’s playstyle as someone who relies on her Brust skill to deal maximum damage.

Best Artifact sets for Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact
A perfect set should fully benefit her and provide her with the best damage. There is one best-in-slot option for Raiden Shogun and if you don’t have that, broken sets can also work. But since she benefits greatly from energy recharge, getting her best in slot set is the best option for her damage.
1. Emblem of Severed Fate
The main choice for her is the Emblem of Severed Fate set. That is because this set provides a combination of Elemental Recharge and Elemental Burst damage buffs. Her best set is the Emblem of Severed Fate. But it’s better to use Raiden’s when using its 4pc. Because giving her too much energy while using not the 4pc of this set might lower her damage.

1. Engulfing Lightning
Engulfing Lightning is her best 5-star weapon. It’s her signature weapon and made especially for her. So no wonder it outperforms all other weapons when used with her.

This weapon has the skill to increase burst damage and crit rate for your burst. So this will be the best free-to-play weapon you can use for Riden Shogun.
