Xiao is a 5-Star character who wields the power of Anemo in Genshin Impact. He is someone who speaks less but fights wonderfully. He is not a very flexible character to team up with other characters. But he does good in a few different teams. In this Xiao guide you will know everything about him including the best builds, artifacts, weapons and more.
Talents and Playstyle
His play style is simple than other members of his team. He functions as a hyper-carry. That means most of the team’s damage will come from him. The other members of the team will help him increase his damage and do damage from off-field.

Do you need constellations for Xiao
You really do not need Xiao’s Constellations because they are not the best. For a free to play players or minimum-paying players, C0 is Xiao good enough. However, if you want to get the constellation then you will have to make him C6 to see any good increase in damage.
Best Artifact sets for Xiao in Genshin Impact

Vermillion Hereafter
This set wasn’t released back when Xiao first came out. But ever since its release, this has been the best set for him to use. That is because the set is tailor-made for him.

Best Weapon for Xiao in Genshin Impact
Xiao has a few good weapon he can use. His signature weapon is the Primordial Jade Winged Spear. But other five star crit weapon like the Staff of Homa is also good for him. Among the four star, Deathmarch and Blackcliff is works pretty good for their crit stat.
Primordial Jade Winged-Spear
It is his signature weapon. The high base attack and crit sub-stat help him a lot to achieve a high crit ratio in the game. On top of that, the skill further increases his damage making it one of the best weapon to use with him.

The second best weapon for Xiao is the Staff of Homa. Besides increasing HP, its skill provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder’s Max HP. The best thing is, when the wielder’s HP is less than 50%, this ATK Bonus is increased by an additional 1% of Max HP.

Best Team Comps for Xiao in Genshin Impact
Xiao being the hyper carry, the team needs to be focused around him. So the other members will aid Xiao by increasing his damage or by doing damage themselves from the off-field.
1. Double Anemo Hypercarry
This team focuses on keeping Xiao burst up at all the times. Bennett will boost the attack while providing healing. Fischl will do off-field dps and sucrose will act as a battery to keep Xiao’s burst at all the time. Here is the characters you need for the team:

2. Double Geo Hypercarry
This team focuses on having geo charters to support Xiao. Having two geo characters will also give the geo resonance which increases the attack for Xiao. Here Xiao is the hyper carry, Jean as a healer, and Zhongli will provide resistance shred as well as a shield for geo resonance. Finally, Albedo will do off-field DPS and activate the geo resonance.
