Genshin Impact Alhaitham pre-farm guide for Artifacts, Ascension, and Talent Materials

Version 3.4 of Genshin Impact was recently live-streamed with lots of new upcoming content and new characters. Alhaitham is amongst one of the upcoming new characters, hailing from the Dendro element. He is a five-star sword character and is the current scribe of Sumeru Academia. The latest version is expected to arrive on January 18th with the first phase banner of Alhaitham and Xiao. These are the total Items required to ascend Alhaitham to level 90 and Level up one of his talents to level 10.

Dendro Emerald

Emerald from a corresponding element is required to level up any Genshin character. Since Alhaitham will be a Dendro character, he will require the Dendro emerald stones. Dendro emeralds can be found from the loots of overworld bosses and weekly bosses, but you can also use the crafting table to change your emerald from other elements into Dendro.

Sand Grease Pupa

Unfortunately, the character ascension material sand grease pupa is not yet available in the game. The Item will be a Sumeru Desert exclusive and will be available with version 3.4 and a new map expansion.

You can get all the required talent books at the new domain located in Sumeru. These Talent books can be farmed only on Tuesday/Friday/Sunday.

Weekly Boss Materials

The new weekly boss drop Mirror of Mushin from the Shouki no Kami, the prodigal challenge reward can be farmed once every week at the domain of Joururi workshop. This domain is located in the Avidiya Forest of the Sumeru region.

1. Gilded Dream

The Dendro characters have a strong affinity with Elemental Mastery stat, and the 4-piece gilded dream artifact set will provide your Alhaitham with the highest amount of EM stat. This artifact will also potentially allow you to run ER sands since his Burst cost is 70, and he requires high energy stats.

2-Piece: Elemental Mastery +80 4-Piece: Within 8s of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the character equipping this will obtain buffs based on the Elemental Type of the other party members. ATK is increased by 14% for each member whose Elemental Type is the same as the equipping character, and EM is increased by 50 for every member with a different Elemental Type. Each of the buffs will count up to 3 characters. This effect can be triggered once every 8s and even when not on the field.

2. Deepwood Memories

The 4 piece Deepwood set is a must-have set for either Alhaithem or a teammate to get the most out of him. This artifact reduces the Dendro resistance of the enemy and allows him to deal higher damage to his targets.
