Enjoy the grand Teyvat New Year celebrations and explore Sumeru's new sandstorm-ravaged desert with Alhaitham and Yaoyao!
More information regarding the upcoming January 18 release of Genshin Impact Version 3.4, “The Exquisite Night Chimes,” from global interactive entertainment company HoYoverse was announced today. This update brings with it the magnificent yearly celebration of Lantern Rite, contests in Inazuma, exquisite attire, and rich rewards, such as a free four-star Liyue character and a total of 13 Intertwined Fates! In the far-off desert of Sumeru, a new location with long-lost ancient ruins and secrets eventually exposes itself among the sandstorms, and two new characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao, become available as formidable allies.
Genshin Impact version 3.4 update: Lantern Rite event
As the beginning of a new year in Teyvat draws near, the brilliance of the Lantern Rite allows Liyue to shine brighter than ever before. The celebrations for this year will feature a music festival with participants from far away as well as a presentation of the cherished folk art show known as Paper Theater. This production will be performed by experienced local craftsmen with the Traveller’s assistance.
During the Lantern Rite event, you may also play a wide variety of minigames, such as Radiant Sparks, the newest racing game, in which players compete to become a part of growing fireworks show. By participating in and completing all of this season’s events and challenges, players will be eligible to receive prizes such as 10 + 3 Intertwined Fates, a four-star Liyue character, and Lisa’s new attire at no cost.
Many competitors have converged to the remote region of Inazuma in order to take part in two different kinds of battles. Contestants in the “Warrior’s Spirit” competition, which the Yashiro Commission is organizing, will duel using traditional Inazuman sword techniques. Spectators will also be able to watch an exhibition match between a special guest and Kamisato Ayaka, who will be wearing her brand-new outfit. During this period, Arataki Itto is preparing the arena for the “Beetle Brawl,” a competition in which contestants are challenged to engage in a fight using their Onikabuto.
Genshin Impact version 3.4 update: New characters Alhaitham and Yaoyao
The forthcoming update will have not one but two brand new Dendro characters for players to take control of. Following his noteworthy appearance in Sumeru’s primary plot, Alhaitham will at long last be playable as a five-star sword-wielding in the game. The “Vultur Volans Chapter” of Sumeru’s Plot Quest gives players the opportunity to learn more about what happened to the reasonable and intellectual Scribe of the Akademiya following the events of Sumeru’s main story.
During the battle, Alhaitham can generate “Chisel-Light Mirrors,” which make it possible for him to transform his attacks into Dendro Damage, launch coordinated strikes, boost the damage caused by his Elemental Burst, and a number of other things that make fight simpler.
Yaoyao, the second new Dendro character, is an adorable youngster from Liyue who can be recruited as a four-star character. She is available for use in the game. During combat, Yaoyao fights with a polearm and employs the Adeptus-crafted gadget known as “Yuegui” to increase the damage she does and to heal her allies. While she is out on her adventure, she will not frighten the local wildlife by approaching it. During the first half of Version 3.4’s Event Wishes, players can access Alhaitham, Yaoyao, and Xiao. During the second half of the event, players will be able to retry Hu Tao and Yelan’s quests.
Genshin Impact version 3.4 update: New area ‘Desert of Hadramaveth’
The new territory to the north-northwest of the Sumeru region is known as the Desert of Hadramaveth, and it is home to a number of mysteries and perils. The middle of the desert is home to a never-ending, enormous tornado that brings tumultuous storms and long-buried secrets to the surface.
After completing the World Quest “Golden Slumber,” players have the opportunity to start another adventure with Jeht from the Tanit Camps. During this quest, players will come across a mysterious Magic Bottle and embark on a journey to locate the lost-lost Orchard of Pairidaeza (now known as the Eternal Oasis by the inhabitants of the desert). According to legend, King Deshret froze time in this location as a tribute to the Goddess of Flowers.
Genshin Impact version 3.4 update: New Genshin Invokation TCG update
Following the release of the Genius Invokation Trading Card Game in Version 3.3, each update will provide a limited-time game mode with its unique set of rules. The limited-time rule for Version 3.4 allows players to bypass the Roll Phase and collect 8 Omni Dice without first doing so. In addition, Klee and Beidou, two brand-new character cards, will be introduced into the game as part of this next update.
