The ever-expanding roster of Dendro characters in Genshin Impact has yet another new addition to its tally with the introduction of the new Dendro DPS Alhaitham in Version 3.4. Genshin Impact Alhaitham Talent and Playstyle
Alhaihtam is a specialized reaction-based DPS with the main focus of his kit being the Chisel-Light Mirrors his skills can create. This Chisel-Light mirror adds a new source of damage to him called projection attacks. Projection attack scales off of the amount of Chisel-Light Mirrors Alhaitham has created on the ground and the more you have, the better his damage will have.
Chisel-Light Mirrors are generated with his Charge and Plunge attack elemental skill and elemental burst. Alhaitham’s passive talent Mysteries Laid Bare also makes him a good EM-scaled character by adding a damage buff to his projection attack based on his Elemental Mastery.
There are two best ways of playing DPS Alhaitham, one is Quickswap, and the Other is the on-field attacker. Quick swap you will first generate all of his Mirror by using skill and a charged attack and then unleash his powerful burst. On the other hand, on-field playstyle requires you to start the rotation with his burst and then start spamming his SKill and normal and charge attacks.
Constellation
Alhaitham is a strong and perfectly viable character at his base constellation of zero. His constellation is not game-breaking by any means and adds a small buff to his kit until his last constellation. For f2p and low spenders who can snipe a few early constellations for him, his early constellations are not worth the amount of primo you will spend so it is better to save for a future character or spend it on a weapon banner instead.
Best artifact sets to farm for Alhaitham in Genshin Impact
1. Gilded Dream
Alhaitham relies heavily on reaction damage and he also possesses a passive talent that increases his damage based on his Elemental Mastery. The 4 piece Gilded Dream will provide you with the highest amount of EM and is his best in-slot artifact set.

The 4 piece Deepwood memories set is an excellent choice for any dendro damage dealer and Alhaitham is no exception. If your party doesn’t have any placeholder for this artifact set then it is better to equip Alhaitham with this artifact over Gilded Dream.

1. Light of Foliar Incision
A brand new five-star sword that was handmade for Alhaithem and is his best in-slot weapon. The new weapon has a high base crit damage as well as a passive that increases the crit rate.
