Genshin Impact: How to Get Primogems for Free

Get Primogem For Free!

Primogems are the main currency in Genshin Impact as they allow players to buy Acquaint Fate and Intertwine Fate. Then you can use these fates to wish for new characters or weapons in the game. You can buy Primogems with real currency but our goal is to collect free Primogems in the game. In this guide, we will cover all possible routes to earn free Primogems.

All the ways to earn free primogem in Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact you can get primogem using real money. But there are many ways to get it for free too. Here is a detailed list of every possible way you can earn primogem for free in Genshin Impact.

1. Daily Commissions

You can get 60 Primogems from Daily Commission Quests which refresh every day. There are a total of four Quest and each Quest will give 10 Primogems. After completing all four of them, the Adventurer Guild will reward you 20 Primogems. As, per day you are getting 60 of them, so in a month you will be able to earn around 1,860 Primogems.

2. Spiral Abyss

The Spiral Abyss Contains 12 floors and each floor has three ‘Chambers’ of challenges. Abyss Corridor, the first eight floors offer completion rewards. The rewards are 100 Primogems for every three stars players achieves in each floor. They can earn up to nine stars that means 300 Primogems. So, eight floors, each nine stars sum up total of 2,400 Primogems.

After Abyss Corridor then comes Abyss Moon Spire, which consists of 9 to 12 floors. In each of these floors, getting three stars rewards 50 Primogems, which makes 150 Primogems per floors. Another thing is that, the Spire resets twice in a month, means you can earn more 600 Primogems.

3. Achievements

Although it’s a one-time Primogem rewards but through the Achievements a player can get 5 Primogems upon completion and some rewarding can go up to 20. There are 800+ Achievements in the game and with each update, new achievements get added regularly. Aside from the ones you can see, there are some hidden achievements that are added with each patch too. 4. Adventure Rank

Leveling up means more rewards, thus players can easily gain free Primogems if they level up their Adventure Ranks. Sometimes Ranks may reward other things besides Primogems like Acquaint Fates. One Acquaint Fate is equal to 160 Primogems. So, players can get approximately 1,100 Primogems by the time they reach 60.

5. Handbook Experience

The Adventurer Handbook contains mainly Experience Tab which has nine chapters. Each chapter gives several tasks and completing them will rewards the players with 900 Primogems and 2 Acquaint Fates.

6. Quest

You can get primogems from different quests. Not all quests give out primogems but the main ones do. Big multi-part world quest and archon quest which is the main story quest of the game rewards primogem upon completion.

Other than that, the hangout quest and character story quest also reward the player with primogems. These are one-time earnings but they are a good way to earn some primogems while enjoying the story the game has to offer,

7. Exploration

Teyvat is a big world. So exploration is a big part of the experience. During exploration there are various ways you can earn primogem. Solve the open world puzzle, take part in combat trail and many different activities to earn some priomgem from them. The later area of the game rewards primogem when you open a chest in the open world. Unfortunately, Mondstadt and Liyue chest does not give any primogem when you open them.

8. Limited time Events

Every version of Genshin comes with its own set of events. By participating in these events players can get free Primogems. The annual events like Lantern Rite Festival, Liyue, and Special Web Events give tons of rewards including free Primogems, Mora, and Hero’s wit. Other version exclusive events also give out a lot of primogem when you complete the event.

9. Redeeming Genshin Impact codes

HoYovers gives free stuff sometimes in the form of codes. Generally, during official Genshin Impact live streams and social media, they reveal codes. You can redeem them through the game’s website. It is one of the easiest ways to get free Primogems among all the routes. However, the codes expire after 24h. So make sure to redeem them as soon as they drop. 10. HoYoLAB Daily Check-In

There is another way you can gain free Primogems by only Check-in and that is through HoYoverse’s Official community sites. Their sites lets you to claim free stuffs like Primogems and Wish. In a month you can gain 60 Primogems and 67,000 Mora. A player only just need to check in a certain number od days to reach the rewards.

11. Serenitea pot

Serenitea pot is the home world that any player can customize and build. Then they can invite any character they own to this realm. Each character has a preferred furniture set. If you have the set in your world, they will reward you with some primogem.

Also, there is a trust rank system in the tea pot. When you level up the trust level you will get 60 primogem up to level 10.

12. Paimon’s Bargain Shop

This is not directly primogem but you can buy fates in the paimon’s bargain shop. Each month you can buy 5 intertwined and 5 acquaint fate using the passive currency you gain while wishing. You can also buy both fates using the currency that you get after getting a 4 star weapon or character in this shop too. So they can be counted as a source of primogem.
