The Genshin Impact 3.1 update has finally arrived with lots of new features. The game saw the addition of a new region as well as characters like Cyno, Candace, and Nilou. There are a total of 56 playable `characters for the players to choose from. Choosing from such a vast range of characters might be confusing for the players. In this article, we will rank all the characters of Genshin Impact according to their class and tier.
Genshin Impact 3.1 tier list (October 2022)
There are three main classes available in Genshin Impact: main DPS, sub DPS, and support. We will rank all the available characters in Genshin Impact according to their classes according to the following categories:
- SS-Tier includes the strongest characters in the game who can outperform and defeat any opponent in any situation.
- S-Tier characters are not the strongest but can do a decent job against more vigorous opponents. They can be picked in the absence of any SS-Tier character.
- A-Tier characters are not that strong, but they can do a decent job in certain situations with the help of other elements.
- B-Tier includes characters who are a bit weak in the game.
- C-Tier includes the weakest characters of the game.

Best main DPS characters in Genshin Impact 3.1
Raiden Shogun
Due to electro being one of the weakest game aspects, the electro archon felt lackluster when it first came out. However, she is one of the best characters overall because of her versatile kit, insane energy recovery abilities, and amazing damage from both elemental skills and burst.
Ganyu
When it comes to charge attack DPS scaling, Ganyu is unmatched in its power. She is a 5-star Cryo bow user who, like Hu Tao, can outperform most DPS characters in terms of damage output when coupled with a hydro character.

Best sub DPS characters in Genshin Impact 3.1
Kazuha
Along with Venti, the game’s sword-wielding Inazuma character, Kazuha is one of the best-supporting characters. But his damage multipliers make him a top-tier sub-DPS character. In addition to the Viridescent Venerer benefit, his elemental burst permits a lot of overtime.
Xiangling
One of Liyue Harbor’s most well-known chefs is Xiangling. She is a 4-star pyro polearm user, and because of the continuous pyro damage she deals with her elemental skill and elemental bursts, she is regarded as one of the game’s best Sub-DPS. She is the best-ranked pyro support/sub-DPS because of the new artifact set and the new polearm, both of which are obtained through quests.

Best support characters in Genshin Impact 3.1
Bennett
Bennett offers the greatest utility when it comes to a supporting character, despite being a 4-star pyro character. Players believe that his elemental burst is the cause of his kit’s excessive power. Based on Bennett’s attack damage, this skill creates a zone that heals and increases your team’s attack. He will no longer be subject to restrictions on healing and attack damage boost after you have the first constellation on him. He makes the best pyro support because of this.
Zhongli
The Geo Archon on Liyue is the most powerful support character as always, dealing insanely high damage while benefiting your team with shields. Depending on how you construct your Zhongli, he can either deal Geo Damage over a wide area or have enough health that nothing can harm you thanks to his shield (which scales with his health).
