The No. 11 of the Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia AKA Childe hails from the Sneznaya region and carries the Hydro vision with him. He is the youngest member in Fatui Habinger’s history. Tartaglia has just received 3rd re-run banner with the 2nd Phase of Version 3.2. He is a Five-Star Bow character who was released back in Version 1.1, but despite being one of the oldest units in the game, he is still amongst the most popular character in Genshin Impact. His re-run banner also includes the brand-new Four-Star character, Layla. Skill Talent
Tartaglia is one of the most unique characters in Genshin Impact with the ability to change his long-range weapon into a melee sword and dealing Hydro Infused Damage with his normal attack. The most essential part of his kit is his Elemental Skill Foul Legacy: Raging Tide changes his weapon from Bow to melee range swords that are infused with Hydro and have a Riptide effect that deals AoE Hydro damage with an interval of 1.5 seconds. The skill has the drawback of a Long Cool Down Period if you use it for too long, but you can play around with this drawback by managing the amount of time you spend on-field with Him.
Tartaglia’s Elemental Burst, Havoc: Obliteration is also a major part of his kit that deals massive amounts of damage in small AoE. If you are on your Mele Stance then the damage will be much higher than when you are on Ranged Stance with your Bow.

Best Weapon For Tartaglia in Genshin Impact
Best Five-Star Weapon: Polar Star
The Five-Star Bow Polar star is Tartaglia’s Signature weapon and also his best in-slot weapon. This bow has a huge crit rate secondary stat along with its high base attack. The buff from this weapon increases damage from Tartaglia’s whole kit.
Best Four-Star Weapon: Rust
Rust is the best Four-Star alternative for Tartaglia. At high refinement, this four-star bow can out-damage some of the five-star Bow in the game. Rust has a strong passive that can increase Tartaglia’s Normal Attack damage by a whopping 80% at R5. Since Rust is a four-star weapon, getting refinement for it is not hard to complete.

This four-star bow has a strong passive that increases normal and charge attacks, which is the key part of Tartaglia’s kit by 32 and 24 percent at R5.
