Explore the world of Avoria in Outland Odyssey
Outland Odyssey is a play-to-earn game where players can hunt, capture, and train creatures called Zeds as they are trying to bring back the metaverse from the brink of destruction. Despite this situation, destruction is not imminent as of yet. The characters have hope that they can still save the world. The game is all about adventuring to save the world.
Outland Odessey Character List
Outland Odyssey has two warriors and two hunters that players can choose from. All the warriors and hunters have their own distinct abilities and weapon choices. The four characters are:
- Lenora (Warrior): Lenora is a former raider. She joined the guild in an effort of redemption for her past sins. She is fearless and merciless, always ready to protect others.
- Robin (Hunter): The guild was interested in Robin not only for her skills but also for a never-ending journey towards rejuvenating Avoria. She uses arrows to fight.
- Verne (Warrior): He was born into a family of mercenaries. From the moment he joined the guild, he swore an oath to protect his sacred world from all those who wished to harm it.
- Virgil (Hunter): Virgil is famous in the guild for his ability to never run out of jokes. Don’t be fooled by his personality as no matter the distance, he always shoots down his enemies with his arrow.
How to play and earn from Outland Odyssey
In-game assets are NFTs
Outland Odyssey has in-game assets such as the hero characters, Zeds, weapons, and armor. Heroes are the characters that players will pick at the start of the game and explore Avoria. There are several classes including warrior and hunter. The heroes can be customized with a great variety of skins and armor. Each character and class have different abilities and skill sets.
Zeds are the beasts that roam around the Avoria. To get loot drops for other benefits such as crafting armors, weapons, or selling them players can defeat the Zeds. If a player chooses, taming the zeds as their partners in battles is also an option. It’s up to the players to make the choice.
Players can craft weapons and armors by defeating defeated the Zeds for loot. The Zed’s ability will reflect the effectiveness of the armor and weapon, and then boost the specific stats when the player decides to wear them. Players can also rent the heroes as NFTs for use.
Outland Odessey tokens
Outland Odyssey has two main in-game tokens. These tokens are an important part to play and earn from Outland Odyssey.
- SHILL Token: SHILL token is Project SEED’s in-game token.
- O2 Token: O2 Token is Outland Odyssey’s in-game token.
These tokens serve multiple purposes in-game for their players.
Dungeons
Outland Odyssey has a game token called “SHILL.” SHILL token holders will have the ability to create their own dungeons for other players to farm. The purpose of creating the dungeons is to earn loot materials when other players farm their respective dungeons. Each dungeon has a unique ID attached to the blockchain.
Staking
Players can stake their SHILL tokens to earn O2 tokens so that they can convert them into real money in Outland Odyssey. O2 token will be distributed to the players based on proof-of-play. Stakers will receive a limited NFT drop by the system every season.
DAO (Governance)
SHILL token holders have a big say in the game project. They can propose and also vote for their ideas. Due to this, players govern the metaverse and ecosystem. Project SEED is creating the 1st decentralized mobile game app where players are involved in game advancements.
NFT Crafting
Every time a player wants to mint an NFT asset they need to burn SHILL and O2 tokens. This system leads to healthy game economics and a balance of the token supply.
Item Enhancement
Players can enhance their in-game items’ stats and skills. Similar to minting NFT, players need to burn SHILL and O2 tokens to enhance the game items.
NFT Marketplace
Outland Odyssey players can money by using SHILL tokens as an option of currency for payment at the NFT Marketplace. In this NFT marketplace, players have the option to either buy/sell or rent.
