Genshin Impact: How to earn Mora for free

Mora is an essential currency in Genshin Impact. It is needed for leveling up the characters to fight against tough challenges. Also, you can use them to buy different types of items. If you are playing this game for a while you might know a few ways to get Mora. Since there are a lot of ways to earn Mora in the game, it is hard to keep track of all the ways. So, this list will help you break down all the ways you can get Mora in Genshin Impact.

1. Completing Daily Commissions

Daily Commission gets reset every day with renewed rewards. They consist of missions that include defeating some enemies, helping NPCs, and some other activities.  You can look it up on your map and will find them marked as purple quest icons.

There are four commission missions available every day to complete. Upon completing them, you can achieve 20,000 Mora alongside some Primogems and other loots.

2. Completing Quests

Every quest carries interesting rewards for the players upon their completion. Just like any other game, main storyline quests also give tons of Mora in Genshin Impact. That is why every player tries to target the main storyline quest to seek a handful of Mora and Primogem.

3. Treasure Chests

Treasure Chest means tons of loot right? And Teyvat is filled with them. There are four types of chests you can find in this world. They are Common, Exquisite, Precious, and Luxurious chests. Some will open on the first try but others will offer puzzles or problems to solve. After successfully completing all the conditions you can open up the chest and claim various amounts of mora depending on the chest.

4. Expeditions

Sending your character to the Expedition can bring you some Mora easily. When your Adventure Rank is more than 14, Adventurer Guild will approach you about Expeditions. You can send out two non-party character at first but as you will continue leveling up, you will be allowed to send five characters. With your chosen characters, pick from the 4h, 8h, 12h, and 20h time slot. Try 20h Expedition because with longer Expedition will result hefty rewards.

5. Exchange Sigils

Exchanging loot at the store is the best and easy way to collect a lot of Mora in a short time. However, you cannot sell your items in Genshin Impact. Instead, you can trade the elemental sigils in certain shops to get mora. Unfortunately, they are one of the infinite resources in the game. While opening chests and leveling your Adventure Rank, you will be getting Sigils alongside Mora and other loots. Then you can easily exchange Sigils at the Souvenir shop for more Mora.

6. Defeat high-level foes

Facing enemies is one of the ways to test out your team’s elemental combos but this will also benefit you with a diversity of loot including Mora. As resin is precious and you do not want to spend it then you can just attempt to beat your enemies successfully to hoard a lot of Mora. Thus, this method makes the basic route for farming Mora in the game.

7. Challenges in the Spiral Abyss

This time, this method is a very challenging way for players to farm Mora but the reward is huge. Players who reached Adventure Rank 20 can challenge all eight floors. Your job is to beat a total of three levels on each of these eight floors. That way you can get around 25,000 Mora. Then once you reach the ninth floor, you will be able to revisit 9 to 12 floors whenever the abyss resets. Challenges these floors to earn mora upon completion.

8. Adventure Book Chapters

This is another best source for farming Mora but unfortunately, they are not repeatable. There is a total of nine chapters in the Adventure Book Experience section. Chapter completion reward hefty Mora to the players. Mora reward starts at 20,000 per chapter and you can high it up to 105,000 Mora.

9. Opening the Blossom of Wealth Ley Line Outcrop

One of the best early decisions of a player is to open as many as Ley Lines they could. These are opened by completing the combat trial after interacting with the Ley Line Blossoms. To open them you will need Resin. Unlike Mora and Primogems resin gets recharged over time. In the late game, there is a better use for the resins. That is why beginners should open those Ley Lines as much as possible and save up a lot of Mora from these.

10. Attending Special Events

Genshin Impact in every version hosts a lot of special events for the players that contain lots of rewards. All the events reward Mora and primogem when you participate in them. The rewards are exclusive so always try to attend these and get all the rewards.

11. Level Up Your Adventure Rank

Early in the game, you should focus on leveling up your Adventure Rank. Because whenever you hit a new Rank, the reward increases including Mora and Primogems. As you continue advancing toward the new Rank, especially at 21 to 25, you will get around 25,000 to 30,000 Mora from each rank up.
