Genshin Impact 3.4 beta test: how to participate, requirements, release date, and more

Every six weeks, Genshin Impact releases a new patch. During the first few weeks of the current patch, the beta test for the following patch is carried out. HoYoverse is taking player applications to join the beta test for version 3.4, which will launch in Genshin Impact around mid-January 2023, as version 3.3 approaches on December 7.
How to participate in Genshin Impact 3.4 beta test
Players must be registered on the Genshin Impact Official Discord server in order to apply. The application must be submitted by Monday, November 28, 2022, 08:00 UTC. To register for the beta test of version 3.4, players must fill out a form. Information will be requested on the form. Please fill out the form completely because players cannot edit it.
Genshin Impact 3.4 beta test: other requirements
- Genshin Impact UID
- Discord tag (the username followed by the four digits after the #) of the account used to join the Genshin Impact Official Discord server.
- Discord ID of the account used to join the Genshin Impact Official Discord server. This is different from the Discord tag.
Activate Developer Mode before using Discord ID on a PC (browser or desktop application). Click on the gear icon in the bottom left to get started. It then opens the user settings page. Enable Developer Mode by selecting the “Advanced” option. Right-click on the profile photo after enabling Developer Mode and choose Copy ID.
On the mobile app, first turn on Developer Mode to obtain Discord ID. Tap the profile icon in the bottom right to accomplish this. To enable Developer Mode, select “Behavior” from the App Settings menu. When you tap the three dots in the top right corner after enabling Developer Mode, the option to Copy ID will appear.
Genshin Impact 3.4 beta test: eligibility criteria
- In order for them to contact the applicant, you must be a member of the Genshin Impact Official Discord server and have your DMs open.
- At the time the application is filed, the candidate must be over the age of 18. If not, their application will be rejected.
- A government-issued ID that is unexpired, such as a passport or driver’s license, is required. Although not the only forms of identification permitted, they would be the most typical.
The email address that was used to set up the applicant’s Hoyoverse account will be required. If selected, the non-disclosure agreement will be emailed to this email address. Players should refrain from disclosing any information because doing so might result in account suspension or, worse, account cancellation.
For version 3.4, there is no information about any area extensions. Alhaitham, a brand-new Dendro 5* character, may be made available as part of this patch, according to certain rumors. Version 3.4 will release around the time of the Chinese New Year, therefore a repeat of the Lantern Rite event is anticipated. At the conclusion of previous events, players were permitted to invite one Liyue 4* character of their choosing; this time should be no different.
