Call of Duty Warzone 2.0: Release date, new map, gameplay details, and more
The biggest battle royale game is coming
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 was announced by Activision at the COD NEXT event with a lot of new features being included in the latest version of the game. Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is launching on November 16 with season one of Modern Warfare II. The game will feature a new map, new weapon and combat mechanics, a new circle collapse system, and many more.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0: new map Al Mazrah
Al Mazrah is the new and biggest battleground of Call of Duty Warzone 2.0. It is a metropolitan area in the Republic of Adal with 18 major Points of Interest. This enormous metropolis is featured in the Campaign and plays a crucial role in the events that follow it in the Modern Warfare II world.
Al Mazrah and its key landmarks will be the new home to the players for a range of missions, including four-player special operations, 6v6 squad engagements, Ground War operations, up to 150-player Battle Royales, and more, just like in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Warzone 2.0 will offer a true extension of the Modern Warfare II universe
Players can expect Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 to expand the Modern Warfare II universe and fully utilize the most cutting-edge technology, which will be shared for the first time across the entire Call of Duty franchise, to deliver a brand-new and seamless Battle Royale experience prior to, during, and following a match. This Call of Duty technology is next-generation and offers a common experience and systems. Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 includes many of the important gameplay features that were covered for multiplayer in Modern Warfare II.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will include more swimming and aquatic combat. As the environment changes to incorporate rivers, lakes, portions of the ocean, and more wet areas, players will experience more combats on land, at sea, and in the air. The underwater combats will offer brand-new difficulties and chances for fights. Players can get into covert swimming up river tributaries, underwater ambushes, and exploration with the experience they will gain from Modern Warfare II.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will also feature a lot of new vehicles for the players to pilot, drive, or steer over during the combats. Players can also customize their favourite vehicles with different skins. They will need to carefully consider the benefits of strategically finding and occupying a nearby gas station in order to keep a vehicle running or searching for Gas canister loot. Although tires can be refilled anywhere in a combat zone, gas stations are more likely to be crowded since they allow car repairs, thus creating more chances for an ambush by an enemy team.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0: new circle collapsing method and Gulag 2.0
Players are mostly familiar with the advancing wall of vapour from their time in Verdansk and Caldera. The developers however are changing the circle collapsing method this time on the new Al Mazrah map. Extreme weather pattern anomalies could cause the safe zone to divide into numerous circles during a match and then re-converge into a single safe zone as the contest approaches the final circle.
Activision is also bringing changes to the famous Gulag from Warzone. Players will now team up with another enemy in the Gulag to eliminate opposing enemies in order to get back into the battlefield. The Gulag combat can also include an AI character called ‘The Jailer.’ Players can defeat him and take his keys in order to escape from Gulag.

COD Warzone 2.0: New extraction mode – DMZ
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 will feature a unique “extraction mode,” the most closely-guarded, leak-proof secret in Call of Duty history. The fundamental idea of this project, known as DMZ, from the Infinity Ward and contributing studios is that players may customize their time in the warzone, engage in cooperative play if they like, and gather gear that they can use across Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 matches.
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 release date
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 will be released on November 16 as a free-to-play game and as part of Modern Warfare II Season One. More information about the game will be shared by the developers in the future.
