Coming to theatres on September 2!

Marvel Entertainment have recently announced the re-release of Spider-man: No Way Home with an additional 11 minutes worth of new footage. The movie is set to release on September 2, 2022, in theatres worldwide and many fans have been wondering if they should spend their time and money to once again see the film and whether it will be worth it or not.

Spiderman as we all know is one of those superheroes who is known and loved by everyone. So when all three Spidermen who graced the big screen by their presence came together for a single movie, it was pretty clear that everyone went crazy. This was Tom Holland’s third solo film in the MCU as Spider-man where we saw him teaming up with two former Spiderman from different universes namely Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to fight five iconic enemies of Spiderman who entered Earth-616 because of a wrong execution of a magic spell by Doctor Strange.

Spiderman: No Way Home created history with it’s huge success

Spiderman: No Way Home is one those movies that people can’t seem to get enough off and was breaking records everywhere it was shown. This movie is very special to a lot of people for several reasons. May it be the nostalgia factor for fans who got goosebumps when they saw their childhood heroes once again in the same role on the big screen, or the iconic easter eggs, dialogues, and banter among the protagonists and antagonists, or the fighting sequences and the CGI of the film which made it a mesmerizing experience to watch the movie in the theatres.

Whatever the reason may be, the film received a huge box office collection of over $1.9 billion worldwide at the end and broke many records. Now the makers have announced the Fun Stuff version of the film which will be an extended version with 11 minutes of extra footage added to the runtime. Many people are wondering what there might be in the extra minutes and whether it will be worth it to buy tickets for the film once again.

No one for sure knows what actually lies inside those extra 11 minutes but that doesn’t stop fans from coming up with various theories and sparking very believable rumors. One of the most probable one might be that there will be more of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire and we’ll get to see more Spidermen action and banter.

Another prediction is that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will get more screen time and that the courtroom scene which was allegedly cut out from the movie will be included too. Many interviews since the film’s release make one thing very clear that there is a lot of unused content kept hidden from the fans and that’s why the possibilities of what might be included in this extra footage is quite large.

Now to answer the billion dollar question, Will it be worth it to watch the movie once more? It depends completely on the individual, as some might happily go to watch the movie once again just to experience the greatness and nostalgia once again and the extended footage is just the cherry on top.

Whereas for some other people, it might feel like a waste of money and time to go watch the same movie for a mere 11 minutes of extra footage. One thing that can be guaranteed is that if someone enjoyed the first film and is a diehard fan of Spiderman, there’s no way they’ll regret their decision of watching this one of a kind movie in the theatres when they got one more chance to do it once again.
