Monster Hunter Mobile game is being developed by TiMi in cooperation with Capcom

TiMi Studio is a very well known mobile studio

As per the latest announcement by Tencent‘s TiMi Studios, a partnership has been formed between TiMi and Capcom to develop a mobile version of the Monster Hunter game.

TiMi Studios has a decent reputation in the mobile games industry

The studio is well known for developing hit mobile games for the last few years that not only wreck massive revenue but also provide players with a top-notch gameplay experience. So Capcom choosing TiMi over any other mobile studio makes absolute sense.

The in-development game will reproduce the hunting actions that define the Monster Hunter series, and offers players a new game experience unique for mobile devices and phones. This first-time partnership between TiMi and Capcom will combine the experiences and strengths of both sides, allowing Monster Hunter to scale to more platforms with an aim to give global hunters – experienced or new – the freedom to hunt as they desire, anytime and anywhere.

TiMi is the name behind iconic Call of Duty Mobile, Arena of Valor, Pokemon UNITE etc. They actually know how to develop the mobile version keeping in mind the popularity and importance of the IP. Earlier last year, the same studio also partnered with Microsoft‘s Xbox Game Studios and World Edge to develop Age of Empires Mobile. However, the release is coming soon for the global version as it has been finally confirmed for the global audience.

Although not much details are out for this upcoming mobile game in the Monster Hunter IP, it can be guessed that it will probably have all the flavors of the original Monster Hunter series. The game will probably be a live-service online multiplayer game where the players can participate and hunt down the monsters together. More information regarding the game is expected to be revealed in the near future.
