EA ties up with MARVEL to create multiple action-adventure games for PC and Consoles
Iron Man game is already in the works
Electronic Arts just announced a long-term collaboration with Marvel Entertainment to develop multiple PC and Console games based on the fan-favorite MCU. All of these games will feature their own original stories set in the Marvel universe, with Motive Studios developing a single-player, third-person, action-adventure Iron Man game.
A new Iron Man video game is already in early development
The partnership announcement also announced that a new Iron Man game is under development at Montreal-based Motive Studio. This new game is a single-player title played in the third-person perspective and falls in the action-adventure genre.
The Iron Man game, created in collaboration with Marvel, will feature an original narrative that taps into the character’s rich history, channelling the complexity, charisma, and creative genius of Tony Stark and allowing players to experience what it’s like to truly play as Iron Man. Games like these were just about time since we have games on Batman’s Gotham city.
The team is led by Olivier Proulx, who has worked on previous Marvel titles such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and is joined at the studio by a dedicated team of passionate industry veterans including Ian Frazier, Malenn Lumineau, and JF Poirier.

This studio has previously collaborated with another pop-culture behemoth on Star Wars: Battlefront II and Star Wars: Squadrons, and a large portion of the Iron Man project team worked on one or both of those games.
