Mobile Legends announces esports roadmap for 2023 at M Summit 2023
Lots of tournaments coming in 2023
The Mobile Legends 2023 esports roadmap, which included the MOONTON Game‘s main tournament programs and was unveiled for the first time at the M Summit, a business summit for professionals working in esports and gaming, was announced at the conference. 2023 will feature several major tournaments throughout the year, giving more opportunities to amateur and semi-pro teams.
Mobile Legends Esports will feature tournaments throughout 2023
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues will run nonstop from February through April, with tournaments taking place in Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and the Middle East in that order. Other significant professional tournaments, such as the Turkey National Championships, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Super League (Regional League, LATAM), and the North America Challenger Tournament, will also be held during the same timeframe.
MOONTON Games is the company that will be hosting all of these events. Following that, the Southeast Asian Games 2023 and the Multisport Championship 2023 will be held during May and June.
In the second half of 2023, the World Cyber Games and the Snapdragon Pro Series MLBB will take place in July. These events will be followed by the MPL and National Leagues, which will serve as qualifiers for the M5 World Championship and run from August through October. In November, ONE Esports will be hosting the ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2023 in advance of the worldwide competition that will begin in December.
“Our tournament roadmap for 2023 is our most comprehensive yet, and we hope to introduce more third-party and nationally sanctioned tournaments this year,” stated Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem Lead at the M Summit. “This is an exciting start for us in a jam-packed 2023, and we are open to working with grassroots-level organisers, to professional developers to provide equal opportunities for passionate esports professionals, fans, and players,” he added.
