A new Marvel card game is coming
A new gameplay trailer and release date of Marvel’s Midnight Sun was revealed by Marvel Studios on the Disney and Marvel Game Showcase at D23 Expo 2022. The trailer revealed that the game is not going to be delayed and will be released in 2023. It is going to be released on 2nd December this year for various platforms. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a card-based tactical action role-playing game. Players are going to see everything related to this game’s release, gameplay, platforms, pre-order of the game, and system requirements of the game in this article.
Play as your favorite superhero and fight the Mother of Demons
The Avengers team up with their supernatural allies to take on the Mother of Demons, Lilith. She has been awakened from her eternal sleep and now wants havoc and chaos worldwide. The trailer also shows evil and chaotic versions of Hulk, Venom, Sabertooth, and Scarlet Witch, who are being controlled by Lilith and fighting with the heroes.
We can see characters such as Ghost Rider, Doctor Stange, Blade, and Magik. These characters joined forces with Avengers such as Captain America, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, etc. We could also see Wolverine with a different character and get-up in the gameplay trailer.
There will be a character known as “The Hunter,” who is Lilith’s child, the game’s main villain. This character will be playable as the player’s own character from the start. There are also other confirmed playable characters in the game, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Doctor Stange, Spider-Man, Wolverine, The Hunter, Blade, Ghost Rider, Magik, and Nico Minoru.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ combat system will be turn-based battles, similar to XCOM 2 and XCOM- Chimera Squad. But there will be no set of abilities as in these games. Instead, the heroes in Marvel’s Midnight Suns will have a bunch of ability cards that players will shuffle once they choose to bring three characters in combat. These cards have abilities such as normal attacks, special attacks, and skills which will be responsible for buffing other characters and throwing out the enemies from the battle arena.
Players can customize cards to suit the player’s fighting styles. Performing charged skills or normal attacks will fill up a Hero Meter, which players can use to perform super powerful special moves. Players can unlock these moves by fighting side by side with other characters and building a battle relationship when in the battle arena or the place of operation known to be the Abbey. The game also includes an environment that can be wrecked and destroyed to add more spice to the gameplay.

We can see the game Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be getting released for platforms which are PC, Xbox S and X series, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
All the game’s four editions are already up for Pre-order which comes with various rewards too. Players will get automatically get a Doctor Stange Defender skin. Signing up for 2K which is the publisher of the game to send the players personalized emails will also reward them with Blade Nightstalker Skin too.

System Requirements for the game are still not available or announced by the publishers at the moment. It will be declared as the release date comes closer. Keep an eye on this page as we will update the system requirements as soon as it is announced.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns: release date
The game will be released on 2nd December 2022, which was earlier delayed to get released in 2023. Though the game will only be released for PC, Xbox Series S and X, and PS5 for the date given. The release date of the game to other Consoles such as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch will be announced later as per 2K.
The game’s release date was changed from getting released later in 2023 to December 2nd this year 2022. The fans are excited to see it get released and finally play the game. More information will be announced in the near future about the game by the publishers.
