Hogwarts Legacy Artbook leak reveals maps, spells, game length, and more
New detailed revealed about Hogwarts Legacy in a leak . Spoilers ahead!
Several leaks have surfaced recently for upcoming games, and Hogwarts Legacy is no exception. Pictures from the game’s official artbook have leaked online, revealing many details about the game, such as maps, characters, spells etc. Twitter user ‘Bigby’, who somehow got his hands early on the game’s artbook, posted several images.
Hogwarts Legacy will require around 35 hours to be completed
On the game’s subreddit, it was confirmed that “some users have received an early copy of the artbook and the pictures of the artbook were legitimate.” The leaker also discussed details about the game’s quests, characters and location in a Reddit thread. According to the leaks, it will take around 35 hours to complete the main story. However, you’ll require double that time to complete the game with all the side quests.
One leaked picture shows a character screen detailing the player’s House, stats such as health and damage and several customizable equipment slots. Other leaks show in-game locations such as classrooms, The Great Hall, which seems to be decorated for Christmas and the Diagon Alley.
Some new professors have also been spotted with whom the players may interact to learn spells and other skills, such as riding a broom. The leaker also claims that the map was cut by almost a quarter, with certain areas of the map now inaccessible and some available areas will not be under playable.
It is also claimed that Quidditch was initially intended to be part of the game but was scrapped one year into its development. But, the players will still be able to fly around Hogwarts Castle. Puzzles will also be an integral part of the game, with around 100 of Merlin’s puzzles, most of which can be solved using magical spells the player has learned. Hogwarts Legacy will release on February 10, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will release for the Nintendo Switch on July 25, 2023, and for the PS4 and Xbox One on April 4, 2023.
