Clips of robberies, gunplay and conversations leaked

A dozen of GTA 6 gameplay footage was leaked online in GTA forum by user teapotuberhacker that shows 90 different footage from the game. Grand Theft Auto 5 was the previous title in the franchise, which was released in 2013. It is one of the best-selling games of all time, combining all the platforms like Xbox, Playstation, and PC. However, its been nine years since the popular GTA franchise has seen any new title; fans are now eagerly waiting for the developers to announce something about their upcoming title of the GTA franchise.

GTA Forums has multiplay GTA 6 leaks already

Footages and screenshots from the leaked GTA 6 gameplay on GTA Forums have gone viral on social media and received mixed reactions from the fans. However, the leaks seem real as they match the previous leaks about GTA 6 having two playable characters and a female protagonist set in a Miami-inspired Vice City. Bloomberg reporter later confirmed that all these leaks that are revealed are true.

One footage shows a clip of two characters, Lucia and Jason, robbing a diner and taking the crowd hostages. Leaked footage also showed the cops as a countdown timer shows ‘Time until cops are dispatched’, and the footage ended with Lucia and Jason escaping the scene on the cop vehicle. However, the video was later taken down by Take-Two.

Poolside conversations between NPCs were also leaked, along with a few shot gunplays, punching, driving, and swimming clips from both playable characters. Gameplay footage from the club was also leaked, which shows both the protagonists walking around the nightclub.

Additionally, footage showed the shooting from the car style, similar to the one in GTA 5. A zoomed-in map of GTA 6 was also leaked, which looks like an airport, and footage of the female protagonist walking around in a different outfit was also leaked.

Rockstar Games previously said Goodbye to GTA 5

Rockstar seemingly said goodbye to GTA 5 after posting a message saying ‘Thank You’ to the people who worked behind GTA 5 and GTA 5 Online and the fans who have supported it. Below the list, Rockstar rolled the credits of every person who worked behind this franchise. The message looked like Rockstar is leaving GTA 5 behind and will now work on their newest unnamed title, which everyone is calling GTA 6 now.

Rockstar announced the new title in the GTA franchise in February and teased that the game would create a creative benchmark in the industry when the developers said they were investing all their resources to develop their new title. The developers are yet to announce GTA 6 ultimately or release any trailers. GTA 6 might be announced this month or next, and a trailer is expected to be released by November 2022.

GTA 6 is expected to be set in Liberty City and Vice City and have two protagonist

In a leak back in 2019 in Pastebin, an anonymous author said that the game will not only take place in Vice City, but Rockstar Games will also add Liberty City to the game. However, other leaks have also indicated that the game might be set in both US and South America.

In addition, the game is supposed to have a female protagonist for the players to play along with another twin male protagonist, according to the Twitter post of Thomas Henderson. He added that the game would continue to have more DLC updates in the online version, where the developers will continue to add new maps and items.

Tom Henderson revealed another piece of information that GTA 6 might not be released by 2025, while many believe that the game might be released between 2023-mid or 2024. GTA 6 is initially expected to be released on Xbox Series X/S and PS5, so PS4 users might not be unable to play the game on their console. However, like GTA 5, Rockstar Games is expected to release the game on the PC platform later.

Rockstar’s response to GTA VI leaks

Now after all this drama, Rockstar Games has officially responded on Twitter. However, the good part is, that the game will not be delayed and is on track to be released when it is supposed to be.
