As a part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations, Epic Games arranged a large giveaway of mystery games for free. The campaign started on December 15th and will end on December 29, with one game available for free for each day. Players can log in to their Epic Games Store account and redeem the games for free. Epic Games is giving away Severed Steel for free on December 27th.

Epic Games Store has given away Severed Steel for free on December 27th. For those who are not acquainted with Severed Steel, it is a sophisticated, action-packed first-person shooter game that was first launched in 2021. Players who want to claim the game must log in to the Epic Games Launcher to obtain the game before December 28.
Epic Games does not reveal the upcoming game for the next day. However, fans can make their speculations by taking several hints from all over the internet. Although it is not sure which game will be given away on December 28, leaks by Billbilkun, who also leaked the free games for PS Plus on January 23, suggest that Mortal Shell will be given away for free on December 28th.
Even though Billbilkun is a reliable source, nothing will be considered official until Epic Games makes the announcement. This page will be updated as soon as the news of the new game is published, and we will also update it if anything changes between now and then.
Since the 15th of December, customers of the Epic Games Store could check in and claim a new game for their collection every day. These games cover a wide variety of genres and are fairly expansive in their scope. Even though there was some misunderstanding due to the fact that the Director’s Cut version of the game was first given away before being replaced by the standard edition, Death Stranding has undoubtedly been the most popular game that has been given away so far.
