Dragon Age: Dreadwolf gameplay images and videos leaked online
The game had reached alpha stage in last October.
The upcoming fantasy role-playing game from BioWare, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, has had footage leaked by an anonymous user. The photos imply that the combat system will forgo the tactical style in favor of more action-oriented gameplay elements.
The images and gameplay videos were leaked by a Reddit user, who claimed to have received them through a playtester working on Dragon Age 4. The gameplay is believed to be from an alpha version of the game.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will have gameplay like God Of War
The leaker states in the post that “a generous playtester provided their recorded gameplay of DA4 that was in early Alpha at that moment.” “Before they were transferred to another project, I saw what they had captured. No, I won’t post the video because the subject specifically begged me not to. And it won’t be made public until I have their consent. They must confirm that nothing in the video would come back to them because I don’t want to put anyone in danger.”
The post detailed several changes that have been made in comparison to the previous Dragon Age title. One of the major changes is the new combat system which will be real-time hack and slash. The developers have reportedly taken inspiration from God Of War (2018). The player has their standard combo attack, their special skills, and a special meter that builds up as they do special moves. The game does not allow players to control other combatants, at least not in this demo. Players will probably be able to direct them to use particular skills. However, it appears that the Alpha has certain features locked off.
According to the leaker, The player character is an Elvish “Knight” Class and they’ve got a sword and a shield. They also have two party members, another knight, and a female dwarf rogue. The graphical quality of the game also seems to have improved “drastically” when compared to previous entries in the series.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is going to be the fourth installment in the Dragon Age franchise, developed by BioWare and published by EA. The latest game in the series is Dragon Age: Inquisition which was released worldwide in November 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
