There are various weapons you can use, and for modifying and upgrading these weapons, this game comes with a crafting system that can be a bit daunting at first. Crafting options and functions in Warhammer 40K Darktide
You will have four options on this menu. In the below-mentioned table, we have compiled all four options and their functions.
Crafting Option | Function |
---|---|
Consecrate | Increases the rarity of a weapon and a chance to get a random perk or blessing depending on the item type and rarity. |
Refine Item | Helps you replace an existing perk with a new random one but each change increases the cost for each succeeding change. |
Earn Blessing | Discard an item to get a blessing as an item. Which can be combined in the “Combine Blessing” option in the crafting menu. |
Re-Bless | Helps you exchange an existing blessing with the one you received from “Earn Blessing” |
Combine Blessing | Helps you combine three voting offerings into a single upgraded one. |
Where to craft weapons in Warhammer 40K Darktide
While in the main hub, you can approach the Shrine of Omnissiah. Approach the Tech-priest Hadron Omega-7-7, and your crafting menu will open up.
Crafting requires Plasteel and Diamantine
There are two main essential resources required for crafting: Plasteel and Diamantine. Stashes for these two resources can be found throughout missions and can be collected with a quick interaction make sure to do that.
Required resources for Consecrating in Warhammer 40K Darktide
Consecrating requires Plasteel and Diamantine. Below in this table, we have mentioned how much of each resource is required to consecrate the weapon’s rarity.
