Vive Le Football is an ambitious attempt from NetEase that boasts a complete soccer simulation title where you take control of your football club both on and off the field. The game has held limited regional alpha and beta tests in the past and promises full cross-platform support in the future.

The open beta will bring new stadium weather effects to Vive Le Football

Since its first alpha test, Vive Le Football has been the talk of the football gaming community. Touted as the much-awaited third option besides FIFA and eFootball, the game boasts Street mode Story, Career, and PVP Modes. The Street mode features 2v2 or 3v3 matches in a tiny arena with a street theme to give the players the vibes of a perfect Sunday-league style street soccer.

NetEase Games has also included snow and rain as well as other stadium weather effects in the game. We can see the aesthetic effects that the stadium and weather will have on a football match through the Vive Le Football Twitter account. It can be really fascinating to play football in the snow, especially on a cold rainy night in Stoke.

Players can sign-up for the closed beta starting now

Along with the FIFPro license, Vive Le Football now holds the official licenses of three well-known football teams: Standard de Liège, PSV Eindhoven, and Benfica. Since its first forward test, the game has sported the license of the reigning Serie A champion AC Milan.
