Tokyo Revengers anime series is inspired by a Japanese manga of the same name, which is written by Ken Wakui. The anime adaptation of the manga was produced by Liden Films. The first season of the series was released back in April 2021 with 24 episodes. And now in January 2023, its second season is going to be released. Tokyo Revengers Season 2: Plot
Tokyo Revengers is an action, sci-fi, drama anime. One of the main characters of the series is Takemichi. One day he finds out that his middle school ex-girlfriend, along with his younger Naoto was killed by Tokyo Manji Gang. After that suddenly one day when he was pushed before the train, he went back 12 years in time.
Later he finds out that whenever he touches the past Naoto he is transported back in present. Now his main motive is to join Tokyo Manji Gang to prevent the death of his ex-girlfriend and his younger brother. The first season of Tokyo Revengers ends with Takemichi at the gunpoint of Kisaki. It ends with a gunshot, which keeps the fans on a major cliffhanger.
The second season of the series is based on the “Christmas Showdown” arc. In this season we going to see a new gang by the name Black Dragon and its leader Taiju Shiba. The second season of the series is all about the rivalry between the Tokyo Manji gang and the Black Dragon gang.
