Ways to get blueprints fast in Slime Rancher 2
1. From Treasure Pods
Collecting all the treasure pods gives you a lot of blueprints. Not only blueprints are the things they offer, but Northeast Gordo Snare and decorations and many more are also a part of the things offered by the treasure pods. They are scattered around in Starlight Strand, Rainbow Fields, and Ember Valley. So don’t forget to check them out.
2. Through the gifts from NPCs
NPCs are the ones that will contact you via the communicator from time to time. And what gifts they send are useful and help players a lot. So it is normal for the players to use this system to the fullest. The problem is, the NPCs also work on a specific mechanism. So working your way according to the set mechanism would help you get the fullest from them. All 5 NPCs work on a different schedules to work on.
Viktor will make his first contact on day 3 and will keep contacting on different intervals, like 5 days or 8 days. The conversation with viktor will tell you about the story line while some says he will provide you home portala or teleporters that will work both ways. Once he stops giving blueprints, he will stop communicating with the player anymore.
Mochi will make introduction and give player the refinery link in day 6. After the introduction, he will stop communicating until you interact with 3 or 4 drones and read the letter in it. Once the player is done with it, Mochi will contact back and will start giving gifts, blueprints. The market link would be the most useful one among the gifts.
Once the player finds the drone near the flutter Gordo in Starlight strands, Mochi will contact the player and will give the blueprint fir the drone key, which is the only locked upgrade. Once done, players can craft it and after that, they will be able to access the second note which will help the player know a bit part of the story.
Ogden introduces himself in day 9 and gives the portable water tap. After that,, he will stop communicating. Just like Mochi, you need to trigger him to communicate back by stepping in the Starlight Strand. Once that done, he will start communicating again and will give gifts. Hydro Turrets will be the most important thing he will gift.
Thora will introduce herself on day 12 and will gift Taming bell. After the introduction, she will contact on a daily interval of 8 to 10 days. The most important gift from Thora would be the advanced gordo snare. Even if it’s not unlocked yet, she will gift it.
The NPC, Bob is also a part of the game but he doesn’t hand out any blueprints. All his gifts are decorations. He also doesn’t give any introductory gifts.
Tips for unlocking the blueprints fast in Slime Rancher 2
For making the unlocking operation go fast, We recommend to keep a track of the introduction day and take it as soon as possible so you don’t miss a day. To make things go fast after the introduction, do all the trigger jobs which will get the NPCs communicate back again. After those are done, all that is left is the wait of days. Make sure to sleep the days to pass time fast and check the communicator machine.
