The story of Sick movie is set amidst the pandemic
The movie is set in April 2020, amidst the pandemic. Two best friends decide to quarantine themselves at a lakeside house away from the crowded city life. During their stay, they find out that they are not the only ones living in that house, someone was keeping a watch on them and it was not a safe one. The official description says, “due to the pandemic, Parker and her best friend decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone – or so they think.”

This upcoming horror film Sick has great potential as its screenwriter, Kevin Williamson, is a legendary horror film writer famous for Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer and is produced by Blumhouse, who produced some terrifying horror movies like The Insidious, Fantasy Island. This film seems to have the right amount of tension and classic slasher elements.

Sick release date
The pandemic horror film, Sick is set to release on 13th January 2023. Initially, it premiered on 11th September 2022 at Toronto International Film Festival and on 21st October 2022 at Philadelphia International Film Festival but now its public release is set to be on the aforementioned date.
Where to watch
The movie will not be available at the hot favourite streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+Hotstar etc, rather Sick will be exclusively streaming at Peacock.
