Sega releases new overview trailer for Sonic Frontiers
A new exciting sonic game is coming.
Sega recently released a new overview trailer for Sonic Frontiers. Sonic Frontiers is an upcoming platform game where players will play as the famous Sonic the Hedgehog. The game will be released for PC, Play Station 5, Play Station 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on 8th November. The recently released overview trailer gave a beautiful overview of the upcoming game, including its features and combat system.
Sonic will be trying to find his lost friends throughout the game
At the beginning of the game, Sonic finds himself alone at a strange digital portal called Cyber Space. Sonic miraculously escapes the portal and reaches Kronos, one of the beautiful Starfall Islands. From there, he begins his journey of finding his friends Amy and Tails. While finding his lost friends, Sonic must explore the exotic open world and solve the island’s mysteries.
Sonic frontiers expands on what fans know and love about traditional Sonic games
According to the trailer, Sonic Frontiers will combine “linear level gameplay” and “open-zone platforming” into a new action field. The world map will also be more significant than ever, giving the players more chances to explore the world.
Throughout the journey of saving his friends, Sonic will fight new enemies, solve puzzles, and solve other side quests. The quests will reward the players with items that can make Sonic more powerful. Players must complete challenges within each cyberspace stage to earn vault keys. They can use the keys to unlock Chaos Emerald vaults and progress in the game. The trailer also confirmed that players could play the game in any order that matches their playstyle.
Sonic’s combat gets an upgrade in Sonic Frontier
Sega will build the combat system of Sonic Frontier based on a skill tree where Sonic will learn many new abilities as the tree is leveled up. Players will have plenty of options to fight strategically, combine dodges, parries, counters, and more.
Players who like straightforward gameplay can use the auto combos, where players can execute various attack combos through a single button. All these new features will make battling enemies more exciting and fluid.
The new Sonic Frontiers game will bring many features that we have never seen in a Sonic game before—starting from running around an open-world map to fighting with the new combat system. It seems Sega is taking a new step in the Sonic universe. The overview trailer has also been a fantastic video explaining everything we wanted to know about the game. With all the details and looks of the game already out, the fans are undoubtedly very hyped about the upcoming release.
