Razer finally revealed its new handheld console Razer Edge during Razer Con 2022. The handheld console from Razer is built on the Snapdragon G3X Gen 1 Gaming Platform and aimed at top-class gaming performance on the move. Razer Edge console specifications
Created in collaboration with Verizon and Qualcomm, this Razer Edge handheld console is an android based device powered by Razer Nexus app. It comes in three variants and for now, only two of them are available. On its first impression, Razer Edge seems to have a lot of similarities with the Logitech G Cloud Gaming handheld which also comes with an Android operating system and allows players to access Xbox Cloud Games. It is also the first handheld device that supports 144hz Steam Link remote play.
How and where to buy Razer Edge
Currently available only in the United States, Razer Edge consoles are now available for reservation. However, you would need to pay $5 as a reservation fee. If you are interested to grab one, head over to the official site and make your reservation by clicking the “add to cart” option.
Razer Edge release date
Although there is no specific date for the shipping, Razer has mentioned that the devices will start shipping in January 2023. But this is only for the United States. People from the rest of the world looking to buy this device need to wait until further announcements from the company.
