A mystery awaits to be unveiled
The mystery cardboard cut-out thriller game Paper Cut Mansion, developed by Thunderful and Space Lizard Studios, is going to be released on October 27, 2022, for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Versions for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch will shortly follow. The game is set around the protagonist of the game who sets on an adventure to resolve mysteries around the mansion.

In Paper Cut Home, players take on the role of Toby, a police detective who travels to the ancient mansion of the same name. As they work to uncover the mystery surrounding this sinister location, they will need to put their detective abilities to the test. Each run will present an opportunity for them to gather new evidence to add to the Evidence Board.
Along the player’s adventure around the mansion, they will come across a fascinating cast of individuals that may aid or harm them: some will give them missions that might net them useful rewards, some will want to hide, and some have more malign intentions toward the players.
The players will uncover new gear and earn new skills in every distinct run. In addition to offering the players a higher chance of overcoming the obstacles that each procedurally generated attempt presents, this will provide them the possibility to define their own playstyle. A dimension-hopping element that enables players to jump between several iterations of the same place that change the visuals and gameplay further heightens the intrigue.
“As a small team, we’ve poured a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into Paper Cut Mansion,” said Space Lizard Studios’ Gabriele Caruso. “So nothing makes me more excited than finally getting to see that effort pay off when players get their hands on it on 27th October on PC and Xbox, and very soon after that on PlayStation and Switch.”
