Overwatch 2: How to get legendary Kiriko skin for free
Unlock the legendary skin, spray and weapon charm for free
Blizzard Entertainment is offering the fans a Legendary Kiriko skin for free as a twitch drop to celebrate the launch of the free-to-play team-based shooter game Overwatch 2. Players will have to watch a total of six hours of Overwatch 2 twitch stream from October 7 to October 17 to get the legendary skin of Overwatch 2’s newest support character Kiriko.
Kiriko is the newest support hero with high mobility and healing abilities in Overwatch 2, she can heal using her kitsune spirit and throw susu spirit to her allies for healing and kunai to her enemies for dealing damage. Kiriko will be available from October 4 after Overwatch 2 is released across all major platforms. Overwatch players can unlock Kiriko for free, free-to-play players will have to reach level 55 in the battle pass to unlock Kiriko, the character can be unlocked instantly with the premium battle pass.
The legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin is not the only item that will be rewarded as a twitch drop, players can also earn the Razor Sharp Kiriko Spray and Donut weapon charm by watching the Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch.
How to get Legendary Kiriko Skin and other twitch drops in Overwatch 2
At first, everyone has to re-link their Twitch and Battle.net accounts to be eligible for the twitch drop. It is to be noted that this step has to be followed by everyone even if someone has participated in an Overwatch twitch drop before. To link your Twitch and Battle.net account follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your battle.net account and go to the connections page.
- Click connect button in the Twitch section.
- Follow the instructions.
After the first step is done, players will have to watch any Overwatch 2 stream in two-time windows:
1. Legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin
To earn the Legendary Sukajan Kiriko skin, players can watch any stream from the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch for a total of six hours between October 7 at 2:00 p.m. PDT to October 16 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.
2. Razor Sharp Kiriko spray & Donut weapon charm
To earn the Razor Sharp Kiriko Spray, players can watch any stream from the Overwatch 2 category on Twitch for a total of two hours between October 17 at 11:00 a.m. PDT to October 24 at 12:00 a.m. PDT. To earn the Donut Weapon charm players will have to watch an extra three hours of Overwatch 2 streams within the same time limit.
Players will have to claim these twitch drops within 14 days, or they will expire. Players will have to log in to the region they prefer to receive the drop.
Eligibility and other notable things for Overwatch 2 Twitch drop
In a blog post, Blizzard has published a FAQ regarding the Overwatch 2 twitch drop. Participants will have to be from selected regions to be eligible for the twitch drop. The list includes North America, Latin America, Europe, The Middle East, Africa, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
Players can earn and claim the drops using any PC or Mac web browser or using the Twitch app on Android or iOS. However, Twitch apps on game consoles, smart TVs, or other TV apps will not be eligible for the drop.
During these hours of watching Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch, viewers can switch between different channels streaming in the Overwatch 2 category without losing their progress. The cumulative watch hour from all these channels will be counted for the twitch drop.
