Omega Strikers, a cross-platform 3v3 knockout striker that is free to play, has been unveiled by Odyssey Interactive, an independent game development studio created by former Riot Games leads. Omega Strikers is the first product for the studio. The game will feature cross-platform after it is released on mobiles later this year and on all major consoles in 2023. Omega Strikers is now accessible in Closed Beta for PC via Steam.
Omega Strikers is a creative fusion of the best elements of contemporary competitive multiplayer games, incorporating character depth and mastery, physical fun and knockouts, and goal-focused objectives into exhilaratingly fast-paced encounters.
Omega Strikers offers a range of diverse characters
Omega Strikers features a range of colorful and diverse characters known as Strikers. Starting with ten Strikers, each one has their own distinct personality and set of skills that they may use to control the core, blast opponents off the arena, and score goals.
Loot boxes, consumable power boosts, and purchased competitive advantages are not present in Omega Strikers because it is intended to be a player-first competitive free-to-play multiplayer game.
All Strikers can be unlocked through normal gameplay, or players can choose to buy the specific Striker they want from the in-game shop. The Omega Strikers experience will be continuously improved with biweekly updates that provide more Strikers, more arenas, new skins, unlockables, and provide more opportunities to compete.
Score five goals before your enemies to win
The basic goal of matches in Omega Strikers is to score at least five goals before the other team; games continue until one team achieves this goal and gets ahead by at least two points. Two teams of three players will compete against one another in each match.
The winners will be the teams of players who cooperate and adapt to their opponent’s tactics and the on-the-spot turmoil. In order to compete against others in ranked, unranked, or custom game types, players can queue alone or with friends.
Because Omega Strikers was designed for cross-platform competition, players will be able to maintain their hard-won status and unlock Strikers wherever they compete. Full cross-progression will be available in Omega Strikers, ensuring that players can access their accounts without difficulty regardless of whether they are playing on a PC, a mobile device, or a console in their living room.
How to play Omega Strikers now
On the PC, Omega Strikers is currently accessible in Closed Beta on Steam. The cross-platform multiplayer game is now in development for consoles, and it will debut on mobile devices later this year. Omega Strikers is only the first game of a series in which the Odyssey team plans to use their original characters.
