Lexis Partners and Riot Games announced today that tickets for the League of Legends World Finals will go on sale for select movie theaters all over the world. On Saturday, November 5, a live special event will be broadcasted in many cinema theaters all around the world, showcasing every second of the action, strategy, and skill of the top League of Legends players in the world.

Players and followers of League of Legends (LoL) will be able to unite to enjoy the thrill of the World Final, which will be televised live from Chase Center in San Francisco to cinemas around North America, South America, Australia, Brazil, Europe, India, Korea, and Turkey. The main event will start at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET after the opening ceremony presented by Mastercard, which will include music legend Lil Nas X performing the Worlds 2022 song “STAR WALKIN.” In addition to the performance by Lil Nas X, LoL influencers and celebrities will visit specific cinemas throughout the world and interact with fans.
With fans frequently cramming viewing parties in the middle of the night depending on where the world championship is being held, in-cinema viewing parties for Worlds have grown to be an incredibly popular element of the experience in Europe, Korea, the USA, Canada, and other places. The top teams from regional leagues from across the world fight for the world championship title at Worlds, the highest level of League of Legends esports competition. 24 teams will compete in the month-long tournament, which is held at the conclusion of the regular season in a different host region every year. One team will be named the best in the world. With more than 73 million peak concurrent viewers worldwide and an average minute audience (AMA) of more than 30 million, the 2021 World Championship broke previous records for viewership.
