GPD WIN 4 Console: Release date, price, how to buy, specifications, and more

GPD Win 4 was announced by GPD and is packed with a Ryzen 7 6800u and a 2 TB NVMe SSD. GPD is an electronic tech company which is based in Shenzhen, a city in China. GPD is a renowned company mainly recognized for selling famous gaming handhelds such as GPD Win 3 and GPD XP.
GPD Win 4 specifications
The GPD Win 4 might be small but it does pack quite a punch irrespective of its size. It consists of an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U and an integrated Radeon 680M GPU for the best possible gaming experience. And if even that seems to be insufficient, the GPD Win 4 device can support eGPU as well.
The Win 4 also has a 6-inch 16:9 display which is fully HD although the refresh rate is unknown as of yet. The device has pixels of the dimension 1920×1080p and also has biometric authentication. The GPD will also offer a Zen 3+ APU and 16GB/32GB LPDDR5 RAM which can run at 6400 MHz along with 1TB/2TB PCIe storage
GPD Win 4 build quality
The material with which the Win 4 is built is polycarbonate and has a matte finish. The handheld mostly weighs around 500 grams. The design is similar to Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP) which has control buttons similar to Win 4 and curved sides. It also comes with a small in-built keyboard which can be used once the display of the device is slid upwards.
There’s also a feature which is GPD “optical finger navigation”, if someone is not comfortable or doesn’t want to use any physical buttons provided, they can use this feature. The feature basically is a touchpad which is particularly designed for handheld devices like the same.
The device also consists of 2 USB ports, one on top of the device and another at the bottom. It also comes with wifi support and internet support of 4G LTE so that users can game from anywhere and at whatever time they like.
GPD Win 4 release date
The device will be available from the month of October in small quantities which are known till now. The color of the device will be able choose between black or silver white color for the interested users. As of now no exact date for the device to get released is available.
GPD Win 4 price
The official price of the device is not yet known or announced. We will have to check for updates as much as we can to get even a single hint of the price it can go for. We may receive the news of the price as the release date is not so far so stay sharp at times.
How to buy the GPD Win 4
It is not yet known the exact date of when it is going to be released so it’s hard to say right now which website or retailers will be getting their hands on the device first to list them for sales, but it’ll obviously be available at GPD’s official website from where they are going to supply their devices to their distributors. Once the release date is accurately confirmed, then the information about pre-booking or buying the device will be available for any other sellers.
