Eminem and Snoop Dogg’s latest music video “From The D 2 The LBC” features both the legends as Bored Ape

Eminem and Snoop Dogg, two of hip-hop’s biggest legends have collaborated on a new song called From the D 2 The LBC featuring both of them as Bored Ape avatars. Although they previously had had some beef between them, they were seen performing together at the Super Bowl Half-Time Show along with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent, the biggest names in the genre performing their biggest hits.

The music video gained huge popularity within just a few hours

It seems like since then, Em and Snoop have resolved their tussle and this music video made that pretty clear. However hip-hop trivia aside, something a lot of people quickly noticed was how the official music video (which gained 4 million views within 24 hours of being released) for the song showed both the artists in Bored Ape avatars.

The song features heavily referenced NFTs along with some wacky visuals signifying certain adult themes so viewer discretion is advised as is usual with most other things both these artists put out. Both Eminem and Snoop were among the many celebrities who jumped onto the whole NFT bandwagon when Bored Ape Yacht Club was all the hype, although now it lost some popularity as a result of the market crash.

Snoop Dogg’s recent music video, titled “House I Built” also referenced Snoop Dogg’s Sandbox NFT collection and visuals based on the blockchain-based game, so he’s actually pretty involved with the whole blockchain-based projects. Bored Ape YC has also launched limited-time merchandise running till this weekend, ie for the next 48 hours, 7 PM ET.
