Multiple job listing by the company suggests a new unannounced AAA project by the developers

After a few recent job listing for an unannounced project by the Dead by Daylight‘s developer Behaviour Interactive, fans are now speculating that the developers might be working on its new competitive multiplayer IP.

It has been found on the company’s website that they are looking for a Console System Programmer for an unannounced project whose “Behaviour is seeking programmers to port a PC game to new console platforms and support first-party digital media entertainment service. The mandate is to build a version of the game that is ready for submission to the supported platform.”

The Montreal-based company has experienced quite a success with its most significant IP, Dead by Daylight. They have also announced a first post-apocalyptic game, Meet your Maker, in August, which will be released in 2023. But the developers are not done with their creations yet, as they are now focusing on an unannounced project.

Another job listing on the website for an Online System Programmer states that “Behaviour is looking for an Online System Programmer, who will bring their expertise and rigor to our team, to develop our next IP !” which makes it evident that the fans are about to get a new IP from Behaviour Interactive.

Behaviour Interactive’s next IP will be a Next Gen cross-platform competitive multiplayer game

The requirements in the job listing add that the candidate must have strong experience with Xbox Series S/X or Playstation 5, which suggests that the game will have online cross-platform features where the PC and console players can play with or against each other.

Behaviour’s website posted another job listing for a System Designer position whose responsibility will be to “tie into the game’s economy, plan player progressions, and ensure data consistency of individual progressions through live updates,” from which its safe to say that the game will include microtransaction and will continue to have live updates.

However, the developers are yet to announce any information regarding their new game. It might take a long time for Behaviour Interactive to announce anything related to the game, as it’s understandable that the game is currently in the early development period.
