Fight against mutant creatures, terrifying machines and superpowered robots in Atomic Heart

The game Atomic Heart is set in the Soviet Union and the story is taking place in an alternative version of 1955. The USSR won World War 2 using advanced machines and robots which resulted in a severe loss of life, but the USSR is still at the top of the world in terms of science and technology. This phenomenon replaced human workers with advanced robots which does all the work of a human being.

The protagonist of the game is a KGB special agent known to be P-3, who is not mentally stable and is sent by the higher officials of the government to investigate a manufacturing facility from which they were not receiving any news and have fallen silent. Reaching there will make the agent find out that the robots and machines have gone berserk and are trying to bioengineer lots of strange experiments.

Being the protagonist the players can shoot with guns and swing melee weapons toward the robots to defend themselves from their threats. The game also provides a crafting mechanism where the players will be able to craft new weapons and tools from the metals that can be detached from the robots or by using scraps taken from household appliances. Weapons can also be upgraded and made much stronger in the game by using a game mechanic called “cassettes.” Ammos are very hard to find and collect in the game.
