Apex Legends Season 15 to introduce the Broken Moon map along with Catalyst, a new legend

Respawn Entertainment has announced the new Apex Legends Season 15: Eclipse, which will introduce a new map named Broken Moon, a new legend called Catalyst, and several other updates. The new season of Apex Legends will be available on November 1 along with a new ranked split, new battle pass, new cosmetics, and a new feature of gifting. While no patch note has been released yet, here’s everything we know about Apex Legends: Eclipse so far.
Apex Legends Season 15 introduces a new map: Broken Moon
Broken Moon will be the fifth map of Apex Legends, a site that remains after a catastrophic meteor impact that occurred in 2078, almost 30 years ago. The map will be similar to the size of World’s Edge and feature a wide range of terrains. The map was inspired by the dark and light sides of the moon and has a contrast of heaven and hell.
The developers have added a new feature called Zip Rails, which is similar to ZIplines and will help the players to travel faster across the map and escape from fights when necessary. Broken Moon is with large Points of Interest for the players to land safely and loot comfortably. It was made taking the fact in the mind of avoiding hot drops and early fights.
Apex Legends’ new legend is Catalyst
Catalyst will be the newest legend added to the Apex Legends roster, hailing from the planet Boreas the new legend will be fighting in the Apex Games at Cleo. Though nothing has been revealed in detail about Catalyst’s abilities, the fans can still get a glimpse of the trailer revealed.
The new legend will be a sniper-focused character with abilities related to something called the ferrofluid which can slow the enemies if they are caught in its trap and can also be used to reinforce doors. Catalyst’s ultimate will most likely summon a ferrofluid wall that can block the enemy’s vision and might also stop the enemies from using their abilities.
Apex Legends Season 15 will add new features like Gifting and Sticker
Two new features will be added to the game in the upcoming Season 15: Eclipse update. In a recent blog post, Apex Legends revealed the feature of Gifting where the players can send in-game items as gifts to their friends after buying them using Apex Coins from the store. Players can send gifts up to five times every 24 hours.
The feature will not have any region restriction, which means you can send gifts to your friend playing from any region of the world. However, the players will have to fulfill some criteria before sending gifts:
- Players must turn on login verification.
- The account level must be level 10 or higher.
- You must be added with your friend for over 2 weeks to send them gifts.
Players can now also customize their items with stickers, which will be permanent. However, Respawn is yet to reveal how the players can earn these stickers in-game.
