Although it’s a new IP, Evil West has generated quite a buzz around eager gamers as the idea of the wild west with an even wilder alternate timeline baffles every mind. Wild West with a wild twist
Evil West takes place in an alternative version of the west in the 1800s where there are vampires among the real people and dangerous monsters dwelling all over the land. You on the other hand are one of the last hard nails left to pose a threat to them and rid the land of terror and hammer home all the evil monsters with the weapons arsenal and abilities at hand.
The gameplay demo showcased by the devs and media outlets reveals a lot about the gameplay. You’re Jesse Rentier from the Rentier Institute, obviously a tough cookie. From the recent gameplay, it’s apparent that you’ll get a handy but effective pistol, a long-ranged rifle a mele baton (with abilities), and a regenerative shield that can stagger enemies with shock with perfect timing.
Most of the levels are promised to be linear with absolutely no side missions, just some collectibles to keep you busy and filled to the brim with action. This game promises to bring back the out-and-out shooters like Doom and seems laser-focused on the path.
