Slime Rancher 2 is an idle farming game and a sequel to the vastly successful predecessor Slime Rancher. Both games have been developed and published by Monomi Park. In the game, you play as Beatrix LeBleu as you look for resources, materials, and Plorts to craft various things and explore the island of Slimes. There are Treasure Pods on the map which gives the players access to some extra materials besides the ones they have already farmed. Although collecting items from the Pods are not compulsory, it is always favourable when the game spoon feeds extra items without any effort. Here we will take a look at 14 of the Pod locations in the Rainbow Fields.
Where to find the Rainbow Fields Treasure Pods in Slime Rancher 2
First Pod
To find the first Pod, you have to travel to the south of the spawn location, also known as the conservatory till you reach a cave. Once you go there, you will notice that the path is blocked by a Phosphor Gordo which has to be popped by feeding it fruits in order to pass that spot. After you do so, shoot a Tabby Plort at the statue there which will open a door behind it and there will be the first Pod which contains a Tank Liner.
Second Pod
For the next Pod, you have to look adjacent to the body of water as shown in the image of the map shown above. Once there, you have to jump across the muddy area where you will find a path. The said path will lead you to the Pod which contains a Hydro Turret.
Third Pod
To locate the next Pod, all you have to do is make your way up from the second Pod and get into the cave which lies ahead and continue into it. The Pod is located at the exit of the cave on the left side and contains Gold Petal Flowers.
Fourth Pod
Before you venture to find this pod you have to make sure that you own a Hover Jet that will enable you to cross the body of water keeping you away from the Pod. There you will find rock fragments in the Pod which is hidden behind rocks.
Fifth Pod
The next Pod is located at an elevation on a mountain. On the top of the mountain, there is a rock platform wherein you will find a Pod containing a Pink Bonsai.
Sixth Pod
The fifth Pod is located on the same mountain as the fourth Pod adjacent to it. All you have to do is take a left turn and climb up the pillar in front. There you have to perform some acrobatics till you get to the Pod tucked away on the pillar.
Seventh Pod
To find the sixth Pod, head Northwest till you come across a formation of rocks cropping out. Climb those rocks and you will find the Pod among the rocks strewn in the area.
Eighth Pod
Now head to the location shown on the map and make your way to the right side where you will find a path. The path leads to a rock where you will find some Slimes, thereafter go left until you reach the peak of the hill where you will find the Treasure Pod which contains a Small Boulder.
Ninth Pod
Now for the next one, make your way to the given location where you will find the statue of a Slime with its mouth gaping. Go up the adjacent path and go right. If you follow the path you will be able to see the Pod when looking over the left edge of the outcrop. There you will find the Heart Cell.
Tenth Pod
Here you will find a path and if you go down the right side of it you will find a cave. If you move further into the cave you will find the Pod containing a Power Chip.
Eleventh Pod
The eleventh location is to the southwest of the Rainbow Fields. Here you will have to follow the path till you reach a fork where you are supposed to take left. Once you go left, look at your immediate left and you will find the next Treasure Pod. This Pod contains the Med Station item.
Twelfth Pod
At the given location you will come across a cave where you will find the Pod you are looking for if you go into it. The Pod will provide you with the Emerald Cypress item.
Thirteenth Pod
Once you get to this location you will find a rock formation with an incline there. Once you go up the incline, you will find a Pod at the top of it containing the Overjoyed Statue item.
Fourteenth Pod
For our final Pod, go down the slope present at the given location and go behind the rock where you will find the Pod. Inside the Pod, you will find an Emerald Cypress Cluster.
