Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: which starter Pokemon should you choose

Though all three starter Pokemons have their strengths and weaknesses, Fuecoco is the best pick to start your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s journey as a Pokemon trainer. It is very effective in solo battles against Pokemons due to its Unaware ability and is robust against 6 of the eight gym leaders.

Fire-type Pokemons are generally rare, so starting your journey with an occasional class Pokemon might be helpful. Also, it evolves into a Fire/Ghost-type Pokemon in its final stage. Finally, it’s probably the cutest fire-type starter Pokemon.
