Articuno also has a hidden ability that is, a snow cloak. Articuno has a 3 Special Defense EV Yield, which means the ideal nature for catching Articuno is calm nature. Articuno generally lives in cold, isolated locations such as snowy mountains filled with permafrost.

The abilities of Chien-pao are Sword of Ruin, Guard Dog, and Sword of Ruin. It is best to catch Chien-pao with a naive nature because of its immense speed. It is obtained as part of The Four Treasures of Ruin (quest-related). To obtain Chien-Pao, the 8 yellow stakes in the southwest part of the map have to be collected, which will unlock a shrine that will reward this Pokémon.
