The latest generation of Pokémon is finally here with the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on Nintendo Switch marking the 9th Generation of mainline Pokémon games. Due to technical limitations, GameFreak had to cut off most of the previews gen Pokémon and release only 400 Pokemon out of the thousand we had before. In this short list of Pokémon, we had a total of 43 Pokémon from the Grass Type. Scovillain

HP: 65
Attack: 108
Defense: 65
Special Attack: 108
Special Defense: 65
Speed: 75

What makes Scovillain a strong pick is its unique dual typing of Fire and Grass. With access to Stab moves from both Fire and Grass-type and High Atk and Special Atk stat, Scovillain can turn the tide in any battle. Scovillain from Capsakid via the usage of firestone can be found in the desert area of  Asado Desert, West Province as well as some mountain areas.

Gogoat

Attack: 100
Defense: 62
Special Attack: 97
Special Defense: 81
Speed: 68

Gogoat has a strong base total stat of 531 and its high HP stat makes it tank strong hits from the opposition. Gogoat also has immunity against grass-type moves and a high attack stat, making it an overall strong pick. It has a 40% encounter rate in mountain areas and 30% in Rocky ones.

Tsareena

Special Defense: 98
Speed: 72

Tsareena is a strong normal attacker grass type with its 120 ATK stat, it also has good defensive cover against both special and normal moves. It has 3 evolutionary lines with Bounsweet-Steenee-Tsareena. Tsareena can’t be directly found in the region but you have to evolve it from Steenee which can be found in Forest and Grass Biome.

Leafeon

Attack: 110
Defense: 130
Special Attack: 60
Special Defense: 65
Speed: 95

With high Atk and Speed Stat, Leafeon can finish any well-matched battle before the opponent even has their chance. Leafeon evolves from Eevee via the usage of Leafstone. You can find Evee in the south Province (Area Two), West Province (Area Three).

Attack: 110
Defense: 70
Special Attack: 81
Special Defense: 70
Speed: 123

Meowscarada is the final evolution of the Paldea starter Pokémon Sprigatito. Meowscarada is a Grass-Dark dual type and has a really high-Speed Stat which allows it to move before most of the Paldea region Pokemon.
