The watchlist is back to identify players who’ve caught the eye based on past performances and upcoming fixtures. So here are a few suggestions for your consideration.

1. Luke Shaw (Defender) – 5.1 million

Although some might hesitate to take Manchester United defenders given their fixture against City, the venue being Old Trafford, the away team surely won’t be the favorites. In such an instance, England’s left-back would be a wise choice to have. Shaw has been the most transferred defender for the past 2 game weeks.

Also, given the 2nd fixture this week against Crystal Palace and United’s solid defensive form after the World Cup break, Shaw has been considered a vital asset by many. In fact, he has earned 32 points out of his total 62 in the timespan post the World Cup. Hence, considering the form he and his team is in, he might be a choice serious choice to be transferred.

2. Marcus Rashford (Midfielder) – 7.0 million

The Red Devils winger (in-game midfielder) is currently on form 9.0 as per the FPL indexes. Also, with an attacking return in the past 3 game weeks, he has already accumulated 89 points. Rashford currently stands 4th on the Threat index among midfielders and can potentially be a threat to his two opponents this week. The England international currently has 7 goals and 3 assists besides a 0.48 xG per 90 mins.

3. Christian Eriksen (Midfielder) – 6.3 million

A reason to trust so many Manchester United assets would be the Crystal Palace fixture, and the fixture against the Cityzens at home. With 1 goal and 3 assists in the past 4 gameweeks, the Danish playmaker would be another Manchester United asset to consider in the midfield.

Also, one may expect clean sheet points from this Manchester United side who have been defensively solid after the restart, given the resistance provided by the center-backs and defensive midfield. His addition to the squad also means you would have a differential choice with you given his TSB is near 3%.

4. Harry Kane (Forward) – 11.6 million

The England captain has been phenomenal for his team since the restart. He has been the highest scorer in the GW19 so far and has had an 8.3 points-per-game average since the restart. Furthermore, he has had the most points among the forwards since the league resumed, with 25. His double gameweek fixtures include North London rivals Arsenal, against whom he has had 14 goals in 16 games.

The other opponent is a Manchester City side who have kept just 1 clean sheet in the last 5 games and dropped points against Brentford and Everton. However, people bringing him into their squad, keep in mind that he’s just 1 yellow card away from suspension. Hence, a yellow card would make a double GW, a single GW for Harry.

5. Erling Haaland (Forward) – 12.2 million

Who else but him? A must-have asset for the team would be the Norwegian center-forward. Haaland leads the goalscoring charts by a considerable margin and can really be impactful in the upcoming double gameweek.

It goes without even saying that he’d also be a top choice for Triple Captain this week. If City would want to close the gap on Arsenal, it should be vital that they take the most out of these 2 fixtures. Accounting for his monstrous 144 points is 21 goals and 3 assists, keeping him at the top of threat and influence Indexes.
