Pokémon Scarlet and Violet guide: How to get the Flying Tera Type Pikachu
New Game, New Pikachu!
The latest generation of Pokémon, the Generation 9 game Pokémon Scarlet and Violet just got its International release on Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite. Giving out special rewards for players who purchase the game early in their lifetime is a tradition for Gamefreak. In the previous generation, Pokémon Sword and Shield, the reward was a special Mewoth, and this time, to celebrate the release of their latest game, Game Freak has launched a time-limited Event that gives out a Flying Tera Type Pikachu for Free. This guide will go through the basics of how to quickly redeem the event reward.
Requirements to get the Flying Tera Type Pikachu
The special Pikachu is not handed out easily with the copy of the game but has some requirements needed to be filled out before getting your hands on it. thankfully one requirement we don’t need to worry about is which version of the game we have as the reward is handed out on both Physical and Digital as well as the Scarlet and Violet versions of the Game. Some requirements we do need are:
- Buy a copy of Scarlet and Violet before Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
- Play The game for at least 1-2 Hours.
- Have an internet connection on your Switch.
- Have a Nintendo Account ( Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not needed)
How to get the Flying Tera Type Pikachu
If you meet the mentioned Requirement then you are eligible to redeem your free copy of Flying Tera Type Pikachu. Follow these steps to get your copy of the Special Pikachu.
1. Go to your Main Menu option and go to Poke Portal
2. Select Mystery Gift and Get via Internet
3. Wait a moment and then select the get Flying Tera Type Pikachu Gift
