Pokémon GO October 2022 Community Day brings Litwick as the featured Pokemon with Halloween-themed events
An interesting day awaits for the players
The Pokémon GO Community Day for October 2022 will feature Litwick, the Ghost/Fire Type Candle Pokémon, and will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, according to information released by Niantic today. Trainers may even come across a Shiny one if they’re fortunate. Trainers can also enjoy a number of in-game rewards and features during the event.
Pokémon GO October 2022 Community Day: Featured Pokémon Litwick
As per the announcement, Litwick, the candle Pokémon will be featured during October Community Day. Litwick will appear more frequently in the wild from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. on the event day. Players might also come across a Shiny Litwick if they are lucky enough.
Trainers who will evolve Lampent will receive a Chandelure that knows the Charged Attack Poltergeist. Lampent is the evolution of Litwick. Players can carry out this activity during the event of within five hours of the event to claim the Chandelure.
A Community Day Special Research story – Field Notes: Trick of the Light will be available for sale for only US $1. Players will be able to access the Litwick Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, Field Notes: Trick of the Light. They can also gift the research ticket to their friends. The community day bonuses will be live from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time. The list of the bonuses includes:
- 3× Catch XP, 2× Catch Candy, 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive XL Candy from catching Pokémon
- 3 hr Lure Modules, 3 hr Incense, snapshot surprise
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day
- Trades made will require 50% less Stardust
The October Community Day will also have a Bonus Battle Raid after the main event ends from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time. Trainers who will defeat Lampent in a four-star Raid Battle will find a bunch of Litwick appearing in a 300-meter radius around the Gym that hosted the raid.
The Litwicks can be found for 30 minutes. Players can also find a shiny Litwick here if they are lucky enough. However, Litwick that appears here will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appear during October Community Day’s three-hour event period.
Players can also find event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
