Bayonetta 3 gameplay footage leak reveals major details about the game
Footage spoils the whole story of Bayonetta 3 along with gameplay
Four different gameplay footage of Bayonetta 3 has been leaked online by a user on Reddit, which reveals the opening scene, gameplay and weapons of the upcoming game. The leaked footage looks entirely accurate and trustworthy, as another user previously leaked similar information regarding the story shown. However, it is still unknown how the user managed to access this gameplay footage from Bayonetta 3.
Bayonetta 3 is a much-hyped game developed by Platinum Games, which is set to be released on October 28 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The game was announced in 2017 at the Game Awards, and fans have been waiting for the upcoming sequel in the Bayonetta series since then.
The leak reveals the opening scene, story and the new protagonist of Bayonetta 3
The user shared four different clips in his post, including a 10-minute recording of the opening scene where Bayonetta and her comrades are seen fighting against their enemies, followed by Bayonetta’s defeat to the newly introduced villain.
The recording starts from the game’s main menu, as the player proceeds through the menus and finally enters the game. The opening scene begins with Bayonetta’s voice and follows into the set of Bayonetta and her friends crashing into the Statue of Liberty and then fighting against a dark entity,
In the clip, Bayonetta’s dialogue often mentions another version of her in a distant world, which might spoil the game’s story, which includes something similar to the multiverse. Another user previously leaked that Bayonetta will consist of stories from the multiverse, and the game will feature different versions of Cereza.
The clip also shows two new characters in the game, one named Viola, who is supposedly the new protagonist of the game and Sigurd, who is also defeated by the same villain. These characters are assumed to be from a different universe and were shown in the trailer released a few days back.
Another 33-minute recording reveals the game’s Prologue and Cereza’s combat against different enemy villains. The clip also included Viola suddenly appearing from the sky or probably a portal from the multiverse and dropping into Enzo’s car.
The recording reveals the combat action, Cereza’s appearance, spawn of Demons and several attack move combos. The recording also features Rodin, Enzo and Jeanne, who were previously present in the game’s prequels.
Two other recordings, one of 17 minutes and another of 11 minutes, were also added in the post, which reveal all the weapons, warcraft and demons in Bayonetta 3. However, both these recordings are evaluations of the items and console mode of the game in the Chinese version and don’t spoil anything for the fans. It shows the UI of the weapons and demons, spawning them and how they help Bayonetta during combats against her enemies.
Platinum Games is yet to respond to the leaks of their upcoming game just a week before its official release. So, the fans will have to wait to know more details about the leaked footage and its authenticity, or they might also have to wait till the game is launched after a week.
