Final Thoughts
It was a star show as multiple celebrities went up the stage to claim their awards. HBO kept up their dominant show of grabbing the most awards in the past few years, as they got 50 major nominations and registered 12 major wins at the PrimeTime Emmy. Squid Game also became the first-ever non-English show to win an award at the PrimeTime Emmy’s, as the show’s director and protagonist also shared 3 more wins between them. Most of the awards were justified, although there were certain qualms from a section of fans as is the case with most awards.
