It will follow the character of Loretta McLaughlin played by Keira Knightley. Loretta is a female journalist who is credited with breaking the story about the “Boston Strangler”, a serial killer who was convicted for the murders of 13 women in the city of the same name.
Loretta, accompanied by her trustee reporter Jean Cole, fights back against the sexism of the bygone era in order to bring the truth about the identity of the murderer to light. She did this with great personal risk and displayed much mettle, which we will hopefully see being portrayed in the movie.

The forever iconic Indiana Jones franchise is going to make a theatrical comeback next year in 2023 and the fans are all in for it. The Nun, when it first came out in the year 2018, became an international hit and gained massive popularity and prompted the ones behind the movie into making another movie of the same name. It is the ninth movie in the super popular Conjuring universe and will be released in the last quarter of next year, that is, 2023.
The Nun 2 once again focuses on the Catholic missionary Sister Irene who is in France in the year 1956. There, an evil force is gradually taking hold which is revealed to be none other than the evil and demonic entity Valak who takes the form of a nun, hence the name of the movie. In August 2017, Wan discussed the possibility of a Nun sequel and what its story may be: “I do know where potentially, if The Nun works out, where The Nun 2 could lead to and how that ties back to Lorraine’s story that we’ve set up with the first two Conjurings and make it all come full circle.”
