The Mandalorian reveals its new season 3 trailer
What is Mando and his cute sidekick Grogu upto? Read to find out!
At the D23 Expo Day 2, the season 3 trailer of the popular show The Mandalorian was revealed amidst much anticipation from the fans. The show will be streamed on the popular streaming platform Disney+. The last season of the show was aired in December of the year 2020 and now it is back again with the adorable Grogu and the tough bounty hunter ‘Mando‘ whose real name is Djin Djarin.
The premise of The Mandalorian season 3
Season 3 takes place after the events of another Star Wars-based show called The Book of Boba Fett where Grogu, the adorable sidekick of Djin ‘Mando’ Djarin who is often misinterpreted as Baby Yoda goes off to train with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, portrayed by Mark Hamill.
In the events shown in the trailer of the upcoming season, it is shown that Grogu reunites with Mando and the pair leave Tatooine to travel to Mandore where Mando aims to regain his lost dignity as a Mandalorian.
Giancarlo Esposito reprises his role as Moff Gideon, the primary villain of the series whose main goal is to capture Grogu and take him away from Mando who is portrayed by Pedro Pascal. The trailer also featured action sequences where Mando and Grogu face off against several armoured baddies which also confirms that there will be action sequences in the show and who knows, maybe we will get to see Grogu use his newly acquired Force powers, something we have all been waiting for.
Final thoughts
Star Wars is one of the biggest franchises out there and therefore the fanbase will contribute to much of the show’s success regardless of the reviews. But credits where it’s due, The Mandalorian has managed to impress most of us with its character design, story, and overall delivery of the show.
The show also managed to garner a big following of people who have not watched Star Wars in the first place which speaks for itself about the quality of the show. Therefore, it remains to be seen how the show will be received, which we hope will be good.
